Supporting Survivors: A Charity Project with Chrysalis in Phoenix, Arizona

Alpharetta, GA — April 15, 2025 — The Utility 2030 Leadership Collaborative (U2030) recently completed a meaningful charity project in partnership with Chrysalis, a Phoenix-based organization that supports women escaping dangerous and domestic violence situations. Our team provided essential hygiene products to help these women regain stability and begin their journey toward healing. Read on to learn more about our experience and how you can help make a difference.

A Focus on Basic Hygiene Needs

The project, which focused on meeting the immediate needs of women who recently escaped domestic violence situations, aimed to provide basic hygiene supplies. These essential items, which many take for granted, are often not readily available to those who find themselves in emergency situations. By donating hygiene products, the team helped make a tangible difference in the lives of these survivors, giving them one less thing to worry about as they began the healing process.

Reaching Out to Chrysalis

The initiative began when our team reached out to Chrysalis to offer our support. Recognizing the importance of basic needs in the recovery process, we knew that providing hygiene products would be a meaningful contribution. Chrysalis's response was overwhelmingly positive, and we were able to coordinate a drop-off of essential goods that would directly benefit the women in their care.

Making a Difference, One Step at a Time

Though we only met Chrysalis staff when delivering the goods, the experience was incredibly rewarding. The staff were visibly appreciative and joyful for the contribution, which reinforced the impact our small gesture could have. It was a reminder that every act of kindness, no matter how seemingly small, can help survivors take steps toward rebuilding their lives.

By helping these women, we provided immediate relief and contributed to their broader journey of independence and empowerment. It was a privilege to play a part in their recovery.

Gratitude and Future Commitment

The staff at Chrysalis expressed their sincere gratitude, underscoring the importance of community support for domestic violence survivors. As the project concluded, it left us with a lasting sense of fulfillment and a commitment to continue supporting those in need. Whether through future donations or partnerships with organizations like Chrysalis, we are reminded of the power of collective action in making a real and lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.
