Meet the 2025 RADIATE Women's Leadership Program Cohort

With a mission to foster leadership excellence among women in the utility industry, the Utility 2030 Collaborative (U2030) is thrilled to announce the sold-out cohort for the 2025 RADIATE Women’s Leadership Development Program. Nominations for this 12-month transformative initiative are now closed, and the program welcomes 27 outstanding program participants and more than 30 generous leaders.

 

A U2030 new program in 2025, RADIATE is designed to empower women in the utility industry with the skills, visibility, and networks needed to elevate their impact and advance their careers while fostering support for other women in leadership. The program’s dynamic learning experiences and opportunities for collaboration serve as its foundational pillars, offering participants the tools and connections essential for success.

 

With diversity of thought among leadership teams proven to drive better outcomes, RADIATE’s vision is to build a thriving community of diverse utility leaders equipped with industry knowledge, strategic leadership insights, strong relationships, and the confidence to modernize utilities and drive innovation.

Program Kickoff and Transformative Outcomes

Starting January 23, 2025, these remarkable leaders will embark on a 12-month journey focused on:

  • Building Leadership Skills: Strengthening adaptive, real-world leadership capabilities through interactive assignments and role-playing exercises.

  • Championing Innovation: Tackling industry challenges with creative problem-solving via Capstone projects.

  • Expanding Networks: Developing a strong, supportive community of like-minded peers.

  • Increasing Impact: Gaining actionable tools and strategies to create lasting, scalable solutions.

  • Celebrating Success: Drawing inspiration from participant achievements and receiving well-deserved recognition.

 

Key Events in the 2025 Program

Participants will engage in a monthly virtual curriculum, taught by an impactful group of utility leaders, and a BGE site visit in June 3-4, 2025. Additionally, they will participate in events open to others in the industry, including:

  • ENERGIZE Retreat

    • When: April 8-9, 2025

    • Where: Scottsdale, AZ

    • Focus: Building internal foundations, mastering crucial conversations, emergency response, and achieving work-life balance.

  • SPARK Annual Meeting

    • When: September 15–17, 2025

    • Where: Seattle, WA

    • Focus: Discussing transformational leadership strategies, navigating emergencies, enhancing customer experiences, and advancing energy transition goals.
